Alexa Wildish has a pristine mountain-stream voice and deeply personal songs, like reading her journal out loud. After spending the last year living her wanderlust in a van and sharing her music across the western states, she has settled in Lyons, Colorado. Her music blends refined vocal skill with Americana roots, country swells, and Celtic drive. A winner of the 2019 Rocky Mountain Folks Festival songwriting competition, Alexa performed with a full band at the Planet Bluegrass stage in August 2021. Her songwriting, filled with laughter and levity, delves into the deep reservoir of human emotions, inviting listeners to feel the vastness of life. Her eponymous EP, recorded at Goosehead Palace with producers Dan Knobler and Russell Durham, features artists like Ruth Moody and Jordan Tice. Adding to her adventures, Alexa reached the Playoffs in Season 24 of The Voice, earning a 4-chair turn with her rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s "Songbird" and joining Team Niall.
